Contemporary Darby Daybed, designed by Sally Sirkin Lewis for J. Robert Scott. This elegant bench/settee features classic lines, delicately rounded arms, and fluted leg accents that evoke an Art Deco-inspired aesthetic. Upholstered in a rich golden-taupe crushed velvet, it offers both sophistication and comfort. The generously plump reversible seat cushion and side pillows are filled with a feather-and-down blend for a luxurious seating experience. Includes a bolster pillow upholstered in coordinating striped satin and velvet. Round tapered legs are finished in a natural wood tone with silvered fluted detailing. Circa late 20th century.
Excellent pre-owned condition, with minor wear, blemishes, and color variation consistent with age and use. Wear to fabric includes small areas of crushed velvet nap and faint white surface marks.
