A distinguished Howard Miller “Charlemagne” floor clock (Model 610-361), crafted in richly figured oak and featuring one of the company’s most impressive traditional case designs. Combining substantial architectural presence with a premium German-made mechanical movement, this heirloom-quality clock serves equally as a functional timepiece and statement furnishing.
The case is executed in warm oak with exceptional grain character throughout and is distinguished by an elaborately carved bonnet adorned with floral motifs, shell carvings, and a graceful serpentine crest. Fluted columns frame both the upper dial compartment and lower pendulum door, while additional carved detailing along the base reinforces the clock’s refined, traditional aesthetic.
The illuminated moon-phase dial features a richly colored celestial arch depicting the lunar cycle against a deep blue night sky. Applied Arabic numerals, ornate corner spandrels, engraved brass detailing, and pierced hands contribute to the dial’s impressive visual depth and craftsmanship.
Powering the clock is a cable-driven German triple-chime movement with three selectable melodies:

A convenient silent/night shutoff option allows the chimes to be muted when desired.
