A substantial signed bronze infant bust mounted on a marble plinth. The sculpture features finely modeled facial details and a rich aged patina consistent with mid-century studio bronze work.
The signature, located at the base of the neck, appears to read "D. Mageline." The piece is mounted on its original marble base with felt underside and has significant weight for its size, indicating a quality bronze casting.
An attractive example of figurative sculpture that displays beautifully on a bookshelf, console, pedestal, or cabinet.
