The desk features burled walnut veneer (burl wood), prized for its intricate, swirled grain patterns, alongside solid walnut construction. It includes original neoclassical brass hardware, such as batwing drawer pulls and a central keyhole escutcheon.
The slanted top opens to reveal a fitted interior with organizational storage, such as pigeonholes and small drawers.
Drawers: It contains two wide, dovetailed drawers for additional storage.
Legs: The base is supported by elegant cabriole style legs, characterized by an "S" curve with outward-curving knees and inward-curving ankles
