Created by renowned Italian modernist animal sculptor Sirio Tofanari (1886-1969), known for his highly detailed and naturalistic depictions of wildlife. Tofanari studied in London and gained international recognition, showcasing his work globally, including regular exhibitions at the Venice Biennale starting in 1909. In 1937, he settled in Milan, where he continued to work until his death. The sculpture features engraved silver details, black lacquered eyes, and is signed by the artist, "S. Tofanari." See less
