This charming vintage Italian ceramic vase is a whimsical addition to any collection of European pottery or animal-themed decor. Expertly crafted in Italy, the piece is designed in the form of a seated Border Terrier, featuring the breed’s characteristic "otter-shaped" head and alert expression.
The vase is finished with a rich, high-gloss glaze. The hand-painted detailing skillfully mimics the wiry texture of the terrier's coat using a mix of warm tan, honey, and dark brown tones. An opening along the dog's back allows for a small, cheerful bouquet, transforming the sculpture into a functional piece of art.
