Each vessel is shaped as a half moon with a raised foot and finished in a dark blue glossy glaze. The inscription “Amsterdam” on the base likely corresponds to an international exhibition associated with the ikebana artist’s practice. These vases reflect the integration of modernist aesthetics within the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. Both pieces are in good condition with minor wear consistent with age.
