This is a table made by hand by a craftsman named Richard Horn, who had a shop in a small town in Virginia. It took him a month to make. The design is from Frank Lloyd Wright's Allen House in Wichita, Kansas. I bought in the early 2002 and it is in impeccable condition. It is even more beautiful in person. It is also sturdy. And light. The wood, like all of Wright's furniture, is laminated wood. So it is surprisingly easy to move.
It comes apart in four pieces. The top. Two base pieces. The wood connecting the two legs.
I love this table, but I have moved to New York City and it is just a little too large for my apartment. I feel like I'm selling an heirloom. This table will last for decades. It will never go out of style.
