Born in Venezuela Newton studied in both Venezuela and Italy, graduating from the Insitituto Europeo de Diseno, Milan. His work has been widely exhibited in Spain & Venezuela receiving numerous prestigious awards both at home and in Europe. His work has been described as a synthesis of pure energy. As seen in the present painting he builds fields of colour where a birds beak or wing (metaphors for his primitive, rural origina) emerge from intense, urbane canvasses.
