Vintage romantic mythological resin coated oil painting of The Rescue (Le Sauvetage) aka Fischend Amor (Fishing Cupid) after French painter Emile Munier. The artwork depicts Cupid and another putto using his bow to fish his quiver of arrows from a pond.
Emile Munier was a French artist who lived from 1810 to 1895. He was an academic and artist, and studied under William Adolphe Bouguereau.
