Louis Pouilloux Fabian (1924-2016) was a self-taught figurative painter who adopted the pointillist style early in his career. His first important exhibition was at the Paris Salon d’Automne in 1954.
He has specialized in landscapes of the French countryside and Nudes (French, of course). He is known for his meticulous craftsmanship and florid color schemes. Oil on canvas 38 x 52 in. unframed; 45 x 2 x 59 in. framed
Fabien’s paintings are in noteworthy collections in Cannes, Paris, Monte Carlo, and Palm Beach.
