This was owned … Read more This is a beautiful vintage Pennsylvania House Bedroom Set from the 1970's. The bed is queen size. This was owned by my parents and they bought the set brand new from Pennsylvania house. It was used for about 50 years until 2024 when my mom passed. She always took good care of everything although after being used for 50 years there are signs of use as to be expected. There are nicks, dents, gauges, scratches, a knob missing on one end table(pictured) but are available online. In my opinion the set is in good condition for being used every single day for 50 years. I would say normal wear and tear. I remembered that my mom always used Olde English Dark Furniture Polish on all of the pieces, so I bought a bottle and used it on all of the pieces. Olde English Dark is absolutely the best polish there is. You can see the difference it makes because in the main picture they did not have the polish on them. but they do in all of the rest of the photos. It shines really nice and Olde English lasts a long time unlike other furniture polishes that are dull the next morning. There are no slats for the bed. Somehow they accidentally got thrown out.. but you can get wood for slats at any hardware store and they are cheap. The long dresser bottom right leg was chipped when my parents moved it one time to clean behind it by sliding it on the floor. My dad glued the chipped piece back on. And did a good job. Only noticeable if you are up very close to it. You can just see the thin line at the very bottom. I do not know my woods very well but I believe some of the pieces are solid Oak. I don't know what the others are. If someone knows and messages me I will gladly add that to the ad. I'm not sure if any of the pieces are cherry or mohogany, but I don't think so. It has scratches, dents, gauges nicks and chips. But the pieces look great. They weren't abused but were well taken care of. Olde English Dark is a wonderful thing with old furniture. Normal wear and tear for something of this age. But everything is very solid and was taken care of. Also there is a bag of three extra hinges and a bunch of screws. Thank you very much.
