Vintage McGuire San Francisco armchairs with original McGuire labels and identification tags on each chair. The pair features McGuire’s warm honey-toned rattan construction with hand-wrapped rawhide joints, rounded arms, and open spindle backs and sides.
The original ivory quilted upholstery is patterned with a small gold dragonfly motif, a particularly nice detail against the natural rattan. The upholstery has been well cared for and retains its original vintage character.
An authentic pair of McGuire chairs with excellent proportions, original materials, and the labels and tags intact. The combination of natural rattan and the restrained gold-and-ivory upholstery gives them a refined Palm Beach / coastal character while remaining versatile in a more traditional or eclectic setting.
