Cippone was born in the province of Lecce in 1942. Self-taught, he attended private art workshops and began exhibiting his work during the years of the Italian youth protests of 1968. He favors oil on canvas and nudes. His style is New Impressionist, with which he also creates frescoes for churches and basilicas in Southern Italy.
