This vintage Persian Shiraz rug (circa 1920) features a unique blend of colors and an intricately beautiful design. The central medallions consist of a vertical line of sub-geometric elements, surrounded by complementary figures in the field, cornices and surrounding borders. The various shades blue, green, light brown, soft blue and subtle hints of camel color blend beautifully with the taupe background.
