Fantastic highboard in rosewood designed by Severin Hansen and manufactured by Haslev Møbelsnedkeri, Denmark, 1960. This elegant and highly functional cabinet showcases Hansen’s refined architectural approach, featuring clean lines, sharp edges, and meticulous craftsmanship throughout.
The highboard is executed in beautifully grained rosewood, with four doors opening to reveal a highly functional interior with shelving and sculpted trays for versatile storage. Below, four drawers provide additional space, combining practicality with sophistication. The cabinet rests on a refined solid rosewood base, a signature of Hansen’s well-proportioned and balanced designs.
A great example of Danish modern design with superb attention to detail, rich materials, and timeless form. A rare and high-quality piece, fully preserved in very good condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
