Up for sale is a high quality antique Indian Repousse sterling silver betel box made in the first half of the 19th century.
It's made with very intricate figural detailing throughout in high relief and has a lovely rectangular silhouette.
The casket has a removable lid that sits recessed over the base and it has lovely elephant detail underneath.
It weighs 290 grams, is in good condition, and measures 6 3/4 inches long by 3 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches wide.
