Its face carries a classic Tabriz design a botanical lattice with stylized sickle leaves, florals and palmettes. This lush composition is enclosed within a series of ornamental borders kept in the spirit of the main field, with geometricized flowering climbers. Everything is executed in a color palette of light blue, beige and red. Despite being almost one hundred years old, the carpet is distinguished by impeccable condition which is the best proof of its quality. If properly maintained, this Persian Tabriz rug will serve its owners for generations without any signs of wear. See less
