Made By Bauscher Weiden, a company located in Germany, New York and Chicago. Although the design is exactly the same as the 1912 and it says 1912 on the back, this plate also has the number 29 engraved on the back which is a reissue of the original. In 1928–1929, the Hotel Jefferson underwent a massive $10 million expansion and renovation. The "29" on your plate signifies it was part of a service order produced specifically for the hotel's grand reopening during this period. This has been in our family as a gift since the 1960’s.
