A classic and iconic West German Pottery decorative vase, attributed to the renowned Scheurich Keramik factory circa 1970. The piece fully expresses the aesthetic of the Fat Lava era, combining a textured, matte stone-effect base surface in beige/ochre tones with a vibrant central band of bright red/orange glaze bordered by dark brown rings. The inside of the mouth features the same bright red finish for a striking point of color contrast.
