the design dates back to 1966, and mass production began in 1969.
the chair from those early years was made from a single mold of reglar® or grp (a fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin) plastic. The choice of material and the monocoque structure were revolutionary for the time, ensuring stability with slender legs reminiscent of wooden chairs, without the bulky appearance of other plastic chairs of the time.
the chairs we offer are all in excellent condition, with more or less significant signs of age and use: we have photographed the most significant ones, which are difficult to notice. One chair does not have rubber feet.
the manufacturer's and designer's name are stamped under the seat.
