An expressive antique Rococo-style giltwood fragment, originally part of a larger console or pedestal table form. This sculptural element features deeply carved scrolling acanthus leaves and voluted detailing, retaining its original water-gilded surface with rich red bole visible throughout.
Substantial in scale and visually complete on its own, the piece works beautifully as an architectural accent, wall-mounted corbel, or sculptural decorative object. The bold curvature and layered carving reflect the craftsmanship associated with European decorative arts of the 18th–19th century.
Presented as-found, with authentic wear and patina that enhance its historic character and visual depth.
