The spinning top takes on the figurative meaning of "key," a locking element for a static box, a perfect and natural volume. The constant rushing, running, stumbling, and recovering of human beings is revealed to be identical to the movements of the spinning top. The spinning top becomes anthropomorphic.
It has become a metaphor. Some remain capable of uncertain rotations, others move lightly on smooth surfaces, still others are stubborn and resistant even on uneven terrain. Whatever the case, all, by nature, stop and take on an unexpected function: thought.
Chievo di Volta is made from solid Canaletto Walnut by Rubinacci Falegnameria, a new Neapolitan brand born from a company history dedicated to natural wood window frames, with artisanal expertise and attention to construction detail; only skill and sensitivity can lead to perfect results, attentive to the details of the joints, the combinations of materials, and their grain. A box with perfect geometry, equipped with a small technical invention that allows it to open in only one direction and thanks to a spinning top, always different, which allows it to be "released".
