Bring a touch of romantic elegance to your vanity, bedside table, or dining setting with this gorgeous vintage silverplate oval dish from the renowned American maker, Oneida Silversmiths.

Dating to the mid-to-late 20th century, this piece features Oneida's beloved "Affection" pattern, characterized by an ornately scalloped rim heavily adorned with deeply sculpted roses, blossoms, and flowing asymmetrical scrolls. The shallow, high-mirror bowl gently sweeps upward at the ends, creating a beautiful silhouette.

Exceedingly versatile, this piece works beautifully as a bread or side dish for a dinner party, a formal catchall tray for jewelry on a dresser, or a sophisticated soap/towel dish in a guest bath. The underside cleanly displays the authenticated stamped Oneida USA heraldic lion crest hallmark.

The dish is in excellent vintage condition with a radiant luster. The display surface looks pristine, showing no apparent scratches, plate loss, or tarnish.
