This very near identical pair of antique French four poster beds, both are full tester beds, with a upper panel that covers the entirety of the beds, both beds are the same size. The four posts are ring turned and support a full tester panel above the bed, the beds having a high quality brocade fabric valance and bed curtain at the end of each bed, with matching upholstered original bed platorms, the beds if placed together could receive a king size.
The beds are in good condition and disassemble for ease of movement and are easily reassembled.
Provenance; Acquired when the owners purchased an 18th century chateau in the Southwest of France in the 1980s, the family returned to the States in the early 2000's and shipped the contents of the property. See less
