Each piece in this series is, indeed, a perfect little gem. "Irises Caliente" is rendered on an 8" x 8" canvas and measures 9" x 9" including modern floater frame. Though a definite departure from more traditional palettes, the artist blends impressionist, post-impressionist and traditional technique to create a very contemporary piece of art. (Perhaps best enjoyed while sipping an icy margarita) :)
