This vintage 5x15 Persian kilim is a rare, extra-long gallery rug—handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960.
Further on the Design:
A brick red background hosts traditional tribal motifs in navy blue, teal, and off-white colors that have kept up beautifully for its age. Connoisseurs will further note the bright color is as uncommon as this stupendous size. Its dimensions are especially well suited to long hallways, corridors, staircases, and many similar applications, too.
Further on the Condition:
This mid-century tribal rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
