A striking modernist console table designed and manufactured by John Himmel in Montreal, Canada, this piece exemplifies refined craftsmanship and architectural clarity.
The console features an inverted “U”-shaped form constructed from antiqued mirrored glass, with tripartite panels forming the top and flat paneled ends anchoring the composition. The reeded mirrored detailing along the apron and legs introduces depth, texture, and subtle luminosity, creating a visual dialogue between reflection and patina.
Elegant and sculptural, this North American design serves beautifully as a hallway or entry console, sofa table, or a statement piece in contemporary interiors seeking a balance of modern geometry and aged sophistication.
