These are white-tailed deer antlers (Odocoileus virginianus) mounted on a partial skull plate — a common natural mount used by hunters and collectors. The bucks are hunted in the fall in order to preserve the size of the herd and prevent starvation. This set is an eight-point, meaning the buck that these came from was older and mature.
I have several of these antler sets, twelve to be exact, including the listings, and can create a listing accordingly if you are interested in using them for a large project.
