Created in Italy during the 19th century, this iron ram's head is a showstopper! Showcasing a nice rusty patina, the ram is striking in the quality of its execution visible on his coat and large antlers. The typical curving loops come back down close to the ears and flank the two eyes that are looking at us. The coat is done with great details and freely falls down the sides, in a very lively manner. The ram's expression is serious and majestic at the same time. Showcasing ocher tones, the sculpture is ready to be hung on a wall. With its skillful treatment, earthy tones and nice proportions, this Italian iron ram's head sculpture from the 19th century will make for a great addition to any home décor, particularly placed in a mountain cabin or country home.
