A special treasure of our gallery is this desk, based on a design by Josef Maria Olbrich and richly decorated with inlays. The design was so famous that it was taken up by the renowned M. Ballin furniture factory in Munich and reinterpreted by architect Matthias Feller. Our desk features its original hardware, and the locks are marked with the initials of the furniture manufacturer. True to Olbrich’s style, our desk is crafted from fine woods such as ebony, American walnut, and Makassar ebony.
