A striking oval bowl crafted from natural cattle horn, circa late 19th century. Made from a single piece, the bowl showcases the organic marbling and rich coloration unique to horn.
Warm golden hues swirling with deep brown and black striations.
The surface has been hand shaped and polished to a soft sheen.
Larger in size than most, this piece makes a statement whether displayed as a sculptural object or used as a catchall.
A wonderful example of antique hornware.
