"Statuesque XX" is an original mixed-media work exploring the tension between feminine strength and fragility. The solitary form emerges against a highly textured, luminous ground, creating a quiet interplay of presence, surface, and light.
Executed in oil, acrylic, graphite, gold leaf, and hand-applied silver leaf, the work is composed in a restrained palette of white, black, grey, and silver. A subtle pearl-white halo surrounding the figure shifts gently with changing light, while the metallic leaf adds depth and dimension to the textured surface.
THe work is presented on a 5/8-inch-deep canvas and is ready to hang.
