He left for the front in 1941, returning in 1945. Two years later, he was admitted to the Muchina School of Art in Leningrad, later attending the Serov Institute, and finally completing his studies at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts. His exhibition activity was constant over the years and he received numerous official awards. Since 1971, he has been a member of the Union of Painters of St. Petersburg. His works are found in the fine art collections of numerous museums in Russia. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
