Artwork sold with frame (43 x 56.5 x 3.5 cm) Baldo Guberti was an Italian painter, engraver, and illustrator born in Ravenna in 1907 and died in Camaiore in 1974. His work is known for poetic landscapes and technical mastery in printmaking. He studied in Ravenna and later lived in Geneva, Morocco, and France, exhibiting in Lausanne and Paris. He debuted in Milan in 1932 and continued to show work in major European cities. He illustrated "Historie du monde en cinq cents mots" in 1938. Guberti’s art features quiet, uninhabited landscapes.
