A lovely, intricate blue & white ceramic lamp by Frederick Cooper. In excellent shape for its vintage age.
This stylish statement lamp showcases a classic Chinoiserie style with hand-painted blue and white floral or symbolic motifs on a white background, characteristic of Frederick Cooper's aesthetic.
Frederick Cooper Lamp Company is an American lighting manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois. The company was founded in 1923 by Frederick Cooper, a metalwork artist who began creating lamps and lighting fixtures as part of his art practice. Over time, the company expanded to become a well-respected lighting manufacturer, known for its high-quality and innovative designs.
Frederick Cooper Lamp Company is known for its wide range of lighting designs, which range from traditional to modern and include table lamps, floor lamps, chandeliers, and sconces. The company is particularly known for its use of high-quality materials, including brass, bronze, and crystal, as well as its attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Frederick Cooper is my favorite lamp-maker/artist, due to his range of styles and use of materials, as well as his unique details and lovely branded shades.
