On the Design:

Admirers of the craft and collectors of fine textile art will appreciate the inspiration drawn from antique rugs of the Spanish sensibility, and the Nepalese pile construction, which captures the essence of classic and transitional European style. This natural luster of the silk accents comforts transitional hues of off-white, beige/brown, red, gold, pink and blue with a tasteful sense of movement in the soothing repetition of the floral pattern. Enjoying both the durability and quality of a modern rug and the idyllic, artisanal nature of Spanish floral art, the depiction of Bilbao as a modern rug exemplifies the European rug collection’s achievements in scale, graph, and refinement lending to graceful rugs like this piece.
