Elegant red lacquered wooden ikebana flower vase from the 1980s.
Dimensions: height 30 cm, diameter 13 cm.
The vase is adorned with beautiful carvings of birds and Japanese peonies.
The ikebana features an inner copper vase.
It is signed on the underside and comes with its original wooden storage box, including documentation and a protective cloth.
The box is marked with the inscription: 村上木彫堆朱 Murakami Kibori Tsuishu Murakami Carved Lacquerware.
