Exquisitely hand painted Shozan Kutani floral ginger jar with carved wood stand that dates to circa 1970's. This features hand painted chrysanthemums, daisies, and other flowers in gold, yellow, white, and aqua on a Chinese red background with stippled gold. The borders around the lid and base are black with stippled aqua micro dots and gold flowers. The lid is shaped like a flower blossom in black and gold. The interior is just as gorgeous as the exterior and the entire inside of the lid and jar are covered in flowers in white, gold, and celadon green. It is marked on the bottom "Hand Painted, Shozan Kutani." This is in excellent condition, no damage, measures 8" high and 6" wide. Perfect for an Asian, Japanese, or Chinoiserie decor. See less
