This giltwood Buddha depicts a seated Buddha upon a lotus.


The carved detailing is quite incredible.


This carved figure was once part of a “zushi” shrine.


It dates to the late Edo Period.


This piece is quite gorgeous and the gold coloring is still vibrant.


Some signs of normal wear and age present.


One arm is missing.
