Painting # 020900 by Van Bankston is a handsome composition of dark greenish black vertical and horizontal forms on a pale ivory yellow background. Both colors offer variations and the soft lines expose under colors. The simplicity is sublimely timeless. The painting is signed on the back. Framing is not required, having clean canvas edges.
"I hope my art encourages the viewer to stop, pause, and take a breath. My art is an invitation to the pleasure of the present moment through the qualities of color, balance, time, form, and texture for a lifegiving and empowering experience."
