Antique N.E Persian Khorasan Rug In Diagonal Paisley Design with Gray & Sand. Keivan Woven Arts rug/EN-14725, origin/ Iran / Khorasan.

This spectacular antique finely woven distressed N.E. Persian Khorasan from early 20th century Iran bears a magnificent splendor indicative of royal tastes, which sought perfection in balance and palette. The intricate geometric paisley's arranged in diagonal rows display various small floral motifs in gray and charcoal, and are complemented by the border of Gray with geometric motifs. The inner and outer guards contain a running pattern of flowers in light tangerine. The variegated light cream and sand field is host to a cheerful array of soft colors.
