The definition of minimalism in a singular design, achieved by the great Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1929, the Brno flat-bar chair is just that. Montage has edited these contemporary iteration authentic originals in a way that’s never been done before.
Montage has been restoring Brno flat-bar chairs for years. The chair shown features a rich Luxe Performance Suede in Navy. This “refined original” evolves Mies’ famed 1929 design with a glistening Lunar Gloss powder-coated finish on its frame, a process which achieves an incredibly durable coating that will outlast countless generations to come. This finish, offered exclusively by Montage Modern, takes this design classic to the next level and celebrates it as the art form it truly is. Each chair retains its mark of authenticity under the arm indicating “Knoll Studio” accompanied by Mies van der Rohe’s signature.
