This exquisite sculpture is one-of-a-kind piece by the artist Emile Bruchon. It was crafted between 1880 and 1920, and it’s signed at its base. This sculptor depicted historical or mythological figures characterized by finely detailed decorative motifs. He was the quintessential Belle Epoque French decorative artist. The statuette is made using spelter casting production technique and stands at a height of 17 inches. It depicts a beautiful young woman in flowing, wind swept garments, a style central to Bruchon's work. This specific work is likely titled "L'Orage" (The Storm). Kindly note that the plaque that named the sculpture is missing from its marble base. Weight: 17lbs
