This is an intricately carved wooden mirror dating back to 1899. The frame exhibits a dark, rich finish, highlighting the craftsmanship of the late 19th century. The design features a cross-like pattern at each corner, with detailed carvings that run along the length of the frame. Geometric and organic motifs intertwine, showcasing the artisanal skill of the period. The mirror itself is rectangular, providing a clear, reflective surface that contrasts beautifully with the ornate, dark wood frame. This antique piece is not only functional but also a statement of historical and artistic significance, perfect for adding a touch of vintage elegance to any space.
There is foxing on the mirror plate which can be seen in the photos.
