An original Art Deco marble business card dish with a polar bear on an ice floe. Made from a single piece of marble.
Previously used to give a visitor who wanted to speak to the lady of the house the opportunity to leave his business card in these trays provided. The business card was then handed over to the ladyship by the butler before it was decided whether her ladyship would even like to receive the visitor.
