Wonderful vintage rabbit toy created and sold by the Louis Max Toy Company. A lovely addition to your Easter decor, gift for your favorite bunny/woodland creature collector or for display.
Louis Marx was an American toy manufacturer from 1919–1980. They made many types of in-demand toys including tin toys, toy soldiers, toy guns, action figures, dolls, dollhouses, toy cars and model trains. Louis Max toys were incredibly popular and known for quality. Louis Max was one of the first to use the new material at the time: plastic.
• Early hard, molded plastic
• Marbled, textured finish
• Possibly part of a child's play hunting set that included rubber darts
• Wind-up "motor", 3 of 4 steel wheels, and a lever that starts the rabbit
running when you set him down.
