Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a gorgeous and unique painting executed on canvas like cloth that has been stretched like canvas. Often times, Keil painted on cloth he had before he could afford canvas. This piece is from Keil’s “Junge Wilde” collection he created in Berlin. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower left corner and was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear. Please note the frame does not come with the art. It was used only for photo purposes. See less
