On the Design:

This piece enjoys a play of medallion and all over floral patterns, with several intricate borders featuring vine scrolls. Rich burgundy, purple and beige tones underscore a play of pastels and jewel tones—particularly rich and lovely in its range of hues, its movement, and that regal sense of center that Kashani masterpieces exemplify among Persian rugs of any period. Admirers of the craft and keen eyes will note the silk’s subtle, yet elegant play of light underfoot.

Condition::

This piece enjoys good condition for its age and origin, but is recommended for use on the wall as a tapestry only. See less
