The glass jewels … Read more Antique early 19th century Irish Georgian oval ebonized and gilt wood mirror with facet cut glass jewels. The glass jewels sparkle. Measures 20 1/2" x 16 3/4" x 1 1/4". With original wood back and original mirror plate in wonderful condition. Mirror is reflecting an old white plaster ceiling which has cracks - the mirror plate is not cracked. Good condition consistent with age - minor age/shrinkage crack to the frame; missing one jewel but the silver backing still in place shows well. A rare, untouched period mirror of fine quality.
